We’re hiring a Tax Associate Director - Private Clients & Employment Taxes to lead client engagements, manage a private client portfolio, and develop future tax talent.
- Combine technical expertise with leadership, shaping client strategy, guiding teams, and building trusted relationships. with flexibility to thrive professionally and personally.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a private client tax portfolio across compliance and advisory.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and resolve client queries.
  • Ensure HMRC deadlines and compliance obligations are met.
  • Coordinate workflow across internal teams.
  • Support and develop the Private Client Tax team through coaching and appraisals.
  • Monitor utilisation, productivity and work-in-progress.
  • Provide technical guidance and feedback across the team.

Skills & Experience:

  • CTA / ACA / ACCA / CA (or equivalent) qualified.
  • Personal or private client tax experience in practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge and research capability.
  • Experience advising clients across multiple sectors.
  • Confident communicator and relationship builder.
  • Proven experience coaching junior colleagues.
