About the Role:
Reporting to the Director, People Information and Systems within the People and Capability Directorate, this position plays a crucial role providing support and guidance to P&C and the business, connecting customers with solutions as the first point of contact for general P&C related queries, and providing high quality documentation and administrative support as needed. This opportunity will empower you to make a substantial and positive impact in our organisation
Responsibilities:
- Coordination of employment related documentation
- P&C advice responding to and triaging first level customer queries
- Intranet content review, improvement and maintenance
- Administration support
- Project support on occasion
To be successful in this role youll have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral, combining active listening and empathy with a positive problem-solving mindset
- Highly effective planning and organising skills, including time management and prioritising within a complex work environment with competing priorities

About the Organisation:
The New Zealand Intelligence Community (NZIC) includes the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) and the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS). We form the core national intelligence, assessment and protective security functions together with the National Assessments Bureau within the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC).

The appointment range for this role will be $63,497 - $67,730
Before you apply
Working within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.
You must:
- Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years
OR
Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years
- Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance
- Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
