The role | Te tunga
As a Commercial Manager, you'll play an enabling role in delivering best-practice commercial and contract management across ICT Common Capability contracts, Framework Agreements, and Marketplace Commercial Constructs.
You'll provide pragmatic commercial advice, support significant contract negotiations with third-party digital service providers, and develop ICT contractual documentation that delivers long-term, sustainable value for government. Working within a high-performing Commercial Contracts Team, you'll contribute to outcomes that benefit agencies and New Zealanders alike.

- Strong commercial and contract management experience, ideally within ICT or complex service environments
- Proven ability to provide clear, pragmatic commercial advice and support complex negotiations
- Experience developing and managing contractual documentation and commercial frameworks
- A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and contribute ideas
- Understanding of public sector environments and delivering value at scale

The appointing range for this role $117,734 - $ 146,513,with the potential to appoint higher depending on level of experience.
