We are looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team on a part-time basis (60-80%). This role is centered around specialty coffee preparation and quality, combined with excellent guest service and daily café operations.

Your Role
As our Barista, you will be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality coffee while contributing to a smooth and welcoming café experience. Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing espresso-based beverages and other coffee drinks to a high standard
- Dialing in espresso, adjusting grind settings, and maintaining coffee quality throughout service
- Operating and maintaining espresso machines and grinders with care
- Providing friendly, professional customer service and creating positive guest experiences
- Serving food and beverages with confidence and efficiency
- Handling guest questions or concerns in a solution-oriented manner
- Opening and closing the café when required
- Keeping the coffee station and front-of-house areas clean and organized
- Working both independently and as part of a small team
Working hours are generally between 9:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Saturday, depending on schedule.
What We’re Looking For
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and genuine passion for coffee and guest service
- Proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and strong sense of ownership
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a café or restaurant, with strong hands-on barista experience
- Solid knowledge of espresso extraction and milk texturing
- Passion for coffee and attention to detail
- Confidence working autonomously, while also being a reliable team player
- Excellent customer service skills and a warm, professional attitude
- Fluent in English and French (minimum B2 level in both)
- Valid Swiss work permit
- Comfortable taking responsibility, including opening and closing duties
