We are a growing business and are looking for an adaptable, proactive Operations & Customer Support Coordinator to act as the front line of the organisation and a key support to our sales, technical and leadership teams.
This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, problem-solving and being the person who keeps things running smoothly. It is ideal for someone who likes variety, takes pride in being organised and wants to grow with a developing business.
The role:
You will be the first point of contact for customers, suppliers and partners, while also supporting internal operations, order processing and light marketing activities.
You will not be expected to know everything on day one. Training and support will be provided, particularly around our products, systems, and internal processes. What matters most is your ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly and take responsibility once trained in the task.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering and managing the main phone line
- Routing enquiries to the right people and following up where needed
- Acting as first-line support for technical sales queries, understanding the issue, handling straightforward questions (such as delivery times, product availability, or basic specifications) and ensuring more complex technical matters reach the right person
- Processing orders, tracking deliveries and liaising with suppliers
- Supporting straightforward IT tasks (e.g., helping new starters access systems, basic troubleshooting with IT support guidance)
- Managing office administration and ordering stationery or services
- Keeping records, notes and actions organised and visible to the broader team
The person we're looking for
You are likely to:
- Be comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Enjoy solving minor problems before they become bigger ones
- Communicate clearly and calmly with customers and colleagues
- Be practical, organised and commercially aware
- Take ownership of tasks once you understand them, rather than relying on constant direction
Experience in operations, customer support, administration, or a similar role is helpful, but attitude, adaptability and reliability matter most.
What you don't need (Although desired):
- Technical heating systems knowledge (we'll teach you what's relevant)
- Graphic design or creative marketing skills
- IT qualifications or advanced technical troubleshooting experience
Why is this role different?
It is a growth position with scope to expand into wider operations, customer success, or commercial support as the business scales. You will have visibility, responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact on how the company operates day to day.
As the business grows, this role is expected to evolve, offering increased responsibility and advancement opportunities.
