Part-Time Maintenance Fitter (Mechanical):
Location: Wexford | On-site | Part-Time
A well-established food production company in Wexford is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to support plant, machinery, and facilities in a large, highly automated 6,000 sq. ft. production site with bespoke equipment.
With over 150 employees, a long-standing management team, and a strong record of staff retention, this is a company where people stay and thrive. This role is ideal for an experienced fitter looking to reduce hours or slow down without retiring, enjoying a regular 4-day weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Routine and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Maintain automated and bespoke machinery and general facilities
- Ensure all work meets health & safety and quality standards
Requirements:
- Qualified Maintenance Fitter/Mechanical Technician or equivalent experience
- Experience with automated equipment an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills, hands-on, flexible, and safety-conscious
Working Pattern:
- Part-time: Wednesday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
