Salary: €34,000 per annum, €653.84 per week, 16.76 per hour
Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Flux-Cored welding techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
- Cut, grind, and prepare metal surfaces before and after welding
- Inspect welded joints to ensure structural integrity and quality standards
- Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure it remains in good working condition
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use and compliance with OSHA/local safety regulations
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet project requirements
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Document completed work and report defects or issues promptly
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Welder or in a similar role
- Proficiency in at least one welding method (MIG/TIG/Stick/Flux-Cored)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Strong knowledge of metals, welding techniques, and safety practices
- Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail
- Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials
- Minimum qualification: Level 5 (Leaving Certificate or equivalent)
