Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct English lessons aligned with our curriculum for assigned upper primary levels and upper secondary levels
  • Mark and assess students’ work with precision and timeliness
  • Foster a positive, structured, and caring classroom environment
  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and students.
  • Curriculum writing for assigned levels
  • Be proactive in arranging “catch-ups” for students who missed any lessons when there are no available “make-up” classes for them to join
  • Work closely with customer service team to provide stakeholders with positive customer experience and strive to minimise withdrawal rate of classes assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English, Literature, or related field
  • MOE experience / ex-MOE/ Strong tutoring track record is a plus
  • Minimum 8 years of teaching experience, with an upper primary and secondary school students in Singapore Context
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Meeting parents, working in a tuition centre as a teacher will be considered
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to engage young learners
  • Caring, meticulous, dynamic teaching style and a collaborative team spirit

What We Offer:

  • 5-day work week (includes 1 weekend day).
  • Pay will be on higher range for teaching on Sundays.
  • Pay depends on class load
  • Contract arrangement for 1 year until end of 2026, incentives available for extension till 2027

Pay: $4,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
