Security Guard — Hotel
Purpose: Maintain guest/staff safety, protect hotel assets, support a welcoming environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Control access at entrances, staff gates, parking, and loading bay; verify IDs/credentials.
- Conduct routine patrols of lobby, corridors, back-of-house, parking, and perimeter.
- Monitor CCTV, alarms, fire panel; escalate incidents per SOP.
- Support guest safety: handle disturbances, noise complaints, lost & found coordination.
- Liaise with Front Office/Concierge on VIP movements and sensitive guest situations.
- Enforce hotel policies (no smoking areas, restricted floors, staff-only zones).
- Respond to emergencies (medical, fire, evacuation); perform first response and crowd control.
- Incident reporting: logbook entries, incident reports, evidence preservation when needed.
- Coordinate contractors/vendors deliveries and access.
- Support cash movement escorts (as required) and key control procedures.
