A Senior Strategy Consultant typically leads strategic projects, shapes recommendations, and guides clients or internal leaders on high‑impact decisions in line with Vision 2030 and sector priorities.
Core responsibilities
- Analyze markets, competitors, and internal performance to identify opportunities, risks, and improvement levers.
- Develop strategies (e.g., growth, market entry, transformation, digital, data, or sector‑specific strategies) and translate them into clear roadmaps and initiatives.
- Define and track KPIs, build dashboards, and run performance deep dives to measure progress and impact.
- Prepare high‑quality presentations, reports, and business cases for C‑level executives and government leaders.
- Lead or co‑lead workstreams, manage junior team members, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
- Support or oversee implementation of key initiatives, ensuring alignment with national transformation and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and steering-committee meetings, and provide ongoing advisory to client or internal stakeholders.
Day‑to‑day work (simple view)
In a typical week, a Senior Strategy Consultant might:
- Spend time in Excel and PowerPoint building models, analyses, and slides.
- Meet with stakeholders to understand challenges, collect data, and align on direction.
- Turn qualitative and quantitative data into insights and recommendations.
- Review and refine deliverables prepared by junior consultants or analysts.
- Present interim findings and final recommendations to senior leadership.
Skills and experience
- Around 5-10 years of experience in consulting or corporate strategy (often including some Big 4/strategy firm or top corporate exposure).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with comfort in structuring ambiguous problems.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills in presentations and written documents.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders, including ministers, CXOs, and strategy offices.
- Often, familiarity with Saudi Vision 2030, national programs, and local regulatory context.
- Typically a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or similar; a master’s/MBA is common but not always required.

Pay: ﷼250.00 - ﷼450.00 per hour
