Venture Capital Managing Partner
The Venture Capital Managing Partner leads the firm’s investment strategy, fundraising, portfolio oversight, and team leadership. This role is responsible for shaping the fund’s direction, sourcing high-quality deals, making final investment decisions, and building long-term relationships with founders, limited partners, and co-investors.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the firm’s investment thesis and fund strategy.
- Lead fundraising efforts and maintain strong relationships with limited partners.
- Source, evaluate, and prioritize investment opportunities across target sectors and stages.
- Oversee due diligence, valuation analysis, and transaction structuring.
- Make final investment decisions and guide portfolio construction.
- Work closely with portfolio companies on growth, governance, hiring, and strategic planning.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and with the broader market.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the investment team.
Requirements:
- Extensive venture capital or private equity leadership experience.
- Proven ability to source and close investments.
- Strong network among founders, investors, and advisors.
- Experience with fundraising and investor relations.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capability.
Pay: QAR120.00 - QAR400.00 per hour
