Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and safety-focused Gas Operations Director to lead and oversee all gas-related operations, including distribution, storage, and compliance. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the safe delivery of gas services while driving performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end gas operations, including distribution, storage, and supply chain management
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements
- Lead, mentor, and manage operations teams, including field staff and supervisors
- Monitor system performance, maintenance schedules, and infrastructure reliability
- Coordinate emergency response planning and incident management
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and operational costs
- Collaborate with engineering, safety, and regulatory teams
- Maintain relationships with government agencies, contractors, and suppliers
- Analyze operational data and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum) or related field
- 10-15+ years of experience in gas operations, energy, or utilities
- 5+ years of leadership or director-level experience
- Strong knowledge of gas distribution systems, pipelines, and safety protocols
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and environmental compliance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Pay: RO5,100.000 per month
