Job Title: Instrumentation & Controls Lead
Company: Southwest Air Systems
Location: Ghubrah South, Muscat, Oman
Salary: OMR 2,750 per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems
- Develop control strategies, system architecture, and technical specifications
- Supervise maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instruments and control equipment
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project teams
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and system drawings
- Provide leadership and guidance to I&C engineers and technicians
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering
- Proven experience in instrumentation and control systems within industrial or oil & gas sectors
- Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and automation systems
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to manage projects and technical teams effectively
- Relevant certifications are an advantage
