Job Title: Lead Production Chemist
Company: RB Intelligence Oil Tech
Location: Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM), Muscat, Oman
Salary: OMR 3,000 per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage chemical operations related to oil and gas production
- Develop and optimize chemical treatment programs (e.g., corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, demulsifiers)
- Monitor production chemistry performance and troubleshoot process issues
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards
- Coordinate with production, reservoir, and operations teams
- Analyze laboratory and field data to improve production efficiency
- Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations to management
- Supervise and mentor junior chemists and technical staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Proven experience in production chemistry within the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of oilfield chemicals and production processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with laboratory testing and field monitoring techniques
- Ability to work in demanding operational environments
