Job Title: Senior Project Mechanical Engineer
Company: Meca Project RD (Oman Branch)
Location: Madinat Al Sultan Qaboos, Muscat, Oman
Salary: OMR 3,200 per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical engineering design and project execution activities
- Review and approve mechanical drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, electrical, and process engineers
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Conduct technical evaluations and resolve engineering issues
- Ensure compliance with international standards and safety regulations
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering within construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and engineering standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to manage complex engineering projects and meet deadlines
- Professional certifications are an advantage
