The Project Environment
Operating from the Ardiya Industrial Zone, 888 Design & Build IT is seeking a BIM Software Specialist to act as the primary architect of our 3D information environments. This role is not about drawing; it is about the management of multidimensional data. You will oversee the software infrastructure that allows our engineering and construction teams to build twice—once in the digital space and once on the ground in Ardiya.
Core Functional Components
- VDC Software Governance: Direct the deployment and optimization of the Autodesk ecosystem (Revit, Navisworks) and Bentley systems, ensuring all spatial data is conflict-free before breaking ground.
- Automated Clash Detection: Execute rigorous 4D and 5D simulations to identify and resolve structural overlaps, minimizing site-based rework through proactive digital validation.
- Information Exchange Standards: Define and enforce COBie and IFC standards for data interoperability, ensuring that every asset in the BIM model contains accurate lifecycle and maintenance metadata.
- Point Cloud Integration: Manage the ingestion of 3D laser scan data into the live BIM environment to monitor construction progress against the original design intent.
- Professional Baseline: 5+ years of experience in BIM management or VDC coordination within large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects.
- Technical Stack: Expert proficiency in Revit, Navisworks Manage, and Dynamo for automation; familiarity with BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Linguistic Precision: Advanced C2-level proficiency in professional English for high-level technical coordination and stakeholder reporting.
- Asynchronous Coordination: Proficiency in using Loom to record "Model Walkthroughs" and clash-report summaries for project managers and on-site foremen.
