Lead Mechanical Engineer role as a senior engineering position focused on designing and optimizing CO₂ mineralization and injection facilities in Oman.
Main responsibilities
The job includes:
Designing and analyzing mechanical systems:
pressure vessels
- pumps
- compressors
- heaters/vaporizers
- CO₂ and water injection systems
- Leading mechanical engineering work for CO₂ injection facilities
- Working with EPC contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants
Reviewing technical documents:
datasheets
- specifications
- RFQs
- bill of quantities
- Participating in HAZOP, HAZID, constructability, and design review workshops
- Supporting prototype and MVP development with the R&D team
- Optimizing energy efficiency and reducing carbon footprint
- Supervising junior engineers and contractor work
- Ensuring compliance with ASME/API engineering standards and HSE procedures.
