About the Role:

Headquartered in Kuwait City, our organization delivers sustainability consulting, industrial compliance services, and infrastructure support projects across the Gulf region. We are currently looking for a Senior Environmental Compliance Manager who can lead regulatory strategy, oversee environmental risk programs, and strengthen compliance standards across multiple operations.
This is a senior leadership position with direct influence on company wide environmental initiatives. You will work closely with executive leadership, operational teams, and government authorities to ensure all projects meet regional and international environmental standards. You are someone who combines technical expertise with strategic decision making and strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance Leadership:
Develop and oversee environmental compliance frameworks that align with Kuwait and GCC regulatory standards.
Environmental Risk Management:
Lead environmental audits, site inspections, and risk mitigation initiatives across infrastructure and industrial projects.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor Environmental Officers and Compliance Specialists while promoting high operational standards across departments.
Government and Stakeholder Coordination:
Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, contractors, and executive stakeholders regarding environmental performance and reporting.
Sustainability Strategy:
Support company wide ESG initiatives by implementing sustainable operational practices and long term environmental planning.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
7 plus years in environmental compliance, industrial sustainability, or regulatory management with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance reporting, environmental impact assessments, and sustainability frameworks within the GCC region.
Leadership:
Proven experience managing compliance teams, leading audits, and overseeing large scale environmental programs.
Communication:
Excellent English communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly to executive leadership and regulatory agencies.
Mindset:
You are detail oriented, proactive, and solutions driven. You understand how to balance operational efficiency with environmental responsibility and long term compliance goals.
Pay: KD2,600.000 - KD3,500.000 per month
