Position Summary

VivaMas Medical Centers is seeking an energetic and community-driven Community Outreach Coordinator to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in representing VivaMas within the community and supporting the organization’s enrollment and patient growth initiatives.

The Community Outreach Coordinator works closely with the marketing and member engagement teams to build relationships, coordinate outreach activities, promote healthcare services, and connect with seniors and community organizations throughout the surrounding areas of our medical centers.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and local partners
  • Coordinate and implement outreach strategies and community engagement initiatives
  • Represent VivaMas at community events, health fairs, and meetings
  • Educate potential patients regarding services and programs offered
  • Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to support outreach campaigns
  • Organize tours and community visits to promote VivaMas services
  • Maintain outreach activity calendars and community engagement tracking
  • Support enrollment growth initiatives and patient acquisition goals
  • Assist with event planning and promotional activities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in customer service, community outreach, marketing, or healthcare preferred
  • Experience working with seniors or Medicare-eligible populations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare or Medicare Advantage programs is a plus
  • Strong organizational and relationship-building skills
