Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of windows on various building types, including high-rise structures using appropriate safety equipment and techniques
- Operate specialized tools such as squeegees, scrubbers, and scissor lifts to reach difficult areas safely and efficiently
- Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding or other access equipment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
- Conduct routine inspections of cleaning equipment and supplies, maintaining inventory levels and reporting needs promptly
- Adhere to all safety standards and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during elevated work or hazardous conditions
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards
- Document completed work and report any issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles with a focus on window or building exterior cleaning
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and safety procedures for working at heights
- Ability to operate scissor lifts or similar elevated access equipment safely and confidently
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for streak-free finishes and overall cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift equipment, and work at heights comfortably
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines rigorously and maintain a clean, organized workspace
