Our client is a a key player in Ireland's food processing sector, specialising in sourcing, processing, and distributing products globally. The company collaborates closely with farmers and contributes to the vitality of the Irish food industry.
About the role:

- Salary €45,000 - €50,000 & Package

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:
Collaborating closely with the Site Safety Management Team,
- Maintain an updated knowledge of new Health & Safety Legislation and industry advancements.
- Promote Health & Safety Awareness across the site, conducting routine internal audits to ensure proper implementation of policies & procedures, and reporting results to Management.
- Perform and update risk assessments, establish preventive measures, and monitor adherence to safety protocols, while also developing secure work systems and managing risk trackers.
- Lead weekly safety briefings/huddles with Line Managers, investigate, document, and follow up on incidents, accidents, or hazardous occurrences.
- Carry out risk assessments and hazard identification.
- Ensure that there is a strong safety culture on site.
- Relevant Health & Safety Qualification
- 1-2 years Health & Safety experience desirable
- Strong Communication Skills
