Residential Cleaner

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and common areas
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine surfaces
• Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
• Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, appliances, and fixtures in accordance with health guidelines
• Manage custodial responsibilities such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and organizing cleaning equipment
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial work with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and products
• Ability to perform various floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining hygienic living spaces
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Experience with laundry processes and handling delicate fabrics or special items
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping or custodial management is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
