Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care.
  • Handle cash transactions, process payments efficiently, and manage cash handling responsibilities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the café area, including food preparation and handling.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and organizing the café for optimal flow.
  • Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about menu items, making recommendations, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Previous barista or coffee experience is highly preferred; familiarity with food handling and preparation is a plus.
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
