Responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base of the Sumu Business Platform across Omani SMEs. The BDM identifies and pursues new business opportunities, builds partnerships, and converts leads into paying customers.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing a sales strategy targeting Omani SMEs, accountants, and business owners, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, and building relationships with key referral channels including accounting firms and business associations. The role involves representing Sumu at industry events, gathering market feedback to inform product development, negotiating partnership and reseller agreements, and working closely with the marketing team on lead generation campaigns. The BDM also tracks pipeline performance, forecasts revenue, and reports on growth metrics to the CEO.
