Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Muscat. The role will primarily focus on providing bookkeeping and accounting services for multiple client accounts, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for client companies.
Record daily financial transactions and journal entries.
Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and customer ledgers.
Prepare monthly bookkeeping reports and financial summaries.
Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
Support VAT compliance, tax documentation, and regulatory filings.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
Assist with payroll-related accounting entries.
Coordinate with clients to obtain financial information and resolve queries.
Support internal and external audit requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Good analytical and numerical skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
