Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Revit/Inventor CAD Draftsperson to support our design-build team in translating concepts into accurate, production-ready drawings and models. This role bridges design and fabrication by producing clear documentation for shop production, installation, and client review.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D models using Revit, Inventor, and CAD software
  • Translate sketches, redlines, and design intent into detailed, buildable drawings
  • Develop shop drawings, fabrication details, and assembly drawings for production
  • Produce cut files for CNC production
  • Revise drawings based on internal feedback, field conditions, and client changes
  • Coordinate with designers, department managers, and build leads to ensure accuracy and feasibility
  • Prepare drawing sets for client review, permitting, and fabrication
  • Maintain organized file structures, drawing versions, and documentation standards
  • Assist in developing standards, templates, and libraries (Revit, Inventor, Rhino etc.)
  • Support material takeoffs, basic BOMs, and production documentation
  • Ensure drawings meet project specifications, tolerances, and build requirements

Key Qualifications

  • Proficiency in: Autodesk Revit (BIM / architectural modeling); Autodesk Inventor (3D modeling / fabrication drawings); AutoCAD or similar CAD tools
  • Experience in design-build, fabrication, millwork, or construction Rhino environments
  • Strong understanding of how drawings translate to real-world production
  • Ability to produce accurate, detailed, and organized drawing sets
  • Familiarity with materials, joinery, or fabrication processes (wood, metal, or mixed materials preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple small projects
  • Clear communication and ability to take direction from multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with cabinetry, millwork, or custom fabrication
  • Familiarity with CNC workflows or CAM outputs
  • Experience with BIM coordination or clash detection
  • Knowledge of file management systems (e.g., Autodesk Vault)
  • Experience in creating parametric models or design automation

Job Type: Part-time, Regular, Hourly

Pay: $28/hour - $38/hour DOE
