ABOUT TAZA CATERING & EVENTS

We're a fast-growing catering and events company based in Phoenix, AZ, serving the greater metro area. We run high-quality staffed events and corporate catering — and we're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to help keep our supply chain and event prep running smoothly behind the scenes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Pick up and deliver catering consumables (groceries, disposables, packaging, specialty ingredients) from our regular vendors — WinCo, Costco, Costco Business, Shamrock Foods, and Restaurant Depot
  • Source fresh flowers and décor items from Trader Joe's and other local suppliers for event styling
  • Execute against clear purchase orders — items, quantities, and approved vendors are provided; your job is accurate, timely execution
  • Capture receipts and report spend accurately after every run — we track costs by event
  • Communicate proactively if something is out of stock or unavailable — no surprises on event day

Shopping lists are provided 2-7 days in advanceso you can plan your runs efficiently. Hours flex around the event calendar — typically weekday daytime with occasional early Saturday morning pickups.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Reliable vehicle + valid AZ driver's license
  • Vehicle large enough to two (2) hold insulated pan carriers (we provide).
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with a phone-based workflow (texts, photos, digital receipts)
  • Trustworthy with a company card and purchase authority
  • Available weekdays with occasional weekend mornings
  • Familiar with Phoenix-area vendors (Costco, Restaurant Depot, WinCo, etc.)

NICE TO HAVE

  • Background in catering, events, food service, or hospitality
  • Experience with errands or procurement for a small business

Pay: $20-$25/hr

Hours: 10-20 per week

Type: Part-time /W2
