About the Role
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Contract Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor
Daily Pay: Up to NZD 240/day + performance-based bonuses

Guydeez is seeking friendly and knowledgeable locals to lead private, personalized walking tours for small groups. No professional guide license is required — what matters most is your local knowledge, communication skills, and passion for sharing Auckland’s culture and landmarks.
What You’ll Do
- Lead private walking tours for small groups (typically 3-8 hours)
- Share stories, history, and insights about Auckland’s neighborhoods and landmarks
- Customize each tour to guests’ interests and pace
- Create engaging, welcoming, and memorable experiences
- Optionally host food-focused or themed tours for guests interested in local cuisine
Who We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of Auckland’s culture, neighborhoods, and attractions
- Fluent in at least one language: English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Chinese, or other widely spoken languages
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident communicator
- Comfortable leading walking tours lasting several hours
- Prior experience in hospitality, tourism, or guiding is a plus but not required
