Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Catering & Events Officer to coordinate and manage catering services and event logistics. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Event coordination: Plan, organize, and execute events, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.
- Client relations: Liaise with clients to understand requirements, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Catering management: Oversee catering services, menus, and food presentation standards.
- Vendor collaboration: Coordinate with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage deliveries.
- Budget oversight: Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.
- Compliance & safety: Ensure adherence to hospitality, health, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in catering or event management.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and event logistics.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive monthly salary (average range in Isa Town:BHD 700-900, depending on experience).
