Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to lead audit engagements, evaluate internal controls, and provide recommendations that enhance organizational efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and expertise in auditing standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit planning: Develop audit plans, scope, and methodologies for assigned projects.
- Risk assessment: Identify and evaluate risks across financial and operational processes.
- Internal controls: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Compliance review: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Mentorship: Guide and support junior auditors in their professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of internal auditing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA are highly preferred.
