Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching ( DECCE-T).
- or Advanced Cert in Early Years (ACEY)
- or Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC)
- or Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (FECCE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and deliver age-appropriate programs and teaching aids in alignment with established educational frameworks and philosophies.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, complete biannual progress reports, and compile comprehensive developmental portfolios.
- Establish strong partnership channels with parents through weekly Connection Book updates, newsletters, and parent-teacher conferences to address educational concerns.
- Lead the classroom environment using positive discipline techniques, and guide/supervise the assigned Assistant Teacher.
- Responsible for the visual layout, decoration, safety, and overall upkeep of teaching resources and the learning environment.
- Render basic first aid when necessary and stay updated on all working curriculum documents and internal policy manuals.
