WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

  • You have at least 6 months of customer service work experience in retail, distribution, or similar environment
  • Your coordination skills are top notch - you can brush your teeth, iron your clothes, feed the dog, make a cup of coffee, and just get things done in a beautiful, quick, effortless sequence (or something like that!)
  • You have an amazing attention for detail and can effortlessly juggle multiple priorities while keeping a smile on your face
  • You are a total people-person and can strike up a conversation easily
  • Organization is your middle name(or it should be because you are all for it!)
  • You are very comfortable with computers and are generally technology-savvy
  • You are totally cool with working in a physically demanding, fast-paced, environment (where you may have to lift heavy items that weigh up to 50 lbs. at any given time)

There are two specific roles we are recruiting for:
1. Exchange & Returns Co-worker (processing refunds/transactions in accordance to IKEA policies)

  1. Full Serve Handouts/Click & Collect Co-worker (preparing items for online customer orders or in store pickup, and bringing customer orders out to vehicles)

  • Be an IKEA Ambassador by recognizing that the customer experience depends on your core ability to prepare and deliver the right products to the right customer quickly and efficiently
  • Pick and stage deliveries for customer pick-up, ensuring order accuracy
  • Be aware of daily and weekly service delivery targets
  • Assemble furniture when required to determine quality/usage issues
  • Maintain stock accuracy and inventory integrity
  • Stay knowledgeable on IKEA products, in-store and online specials, as well as all applicable internal policies and standards
  • Assist your team members with additional duties, as required

Please note, we are hiring a few permanent part time roles working between 12-40 hours per week. This role is located at 3320 Jacombs Road, Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, V6V 1Z6.

There are two specific roles we are recruiting for:

  1. Full Serve Handouts/Click & Collect Co-worker (preparing items for online customer orders or in store pickup, and bringing customer orders out to vehicles)

Both roles are physically demanding.
