Responsibilities:
- Communicates with the subcontractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
- Manages the concerned parties involved in the project which includes the architects, consultants, contractors, site engineers, subcontractors, and lab management.
- Performs and follows up key roles in construction activities of project technical/construction engineers to meet each goals/objective and assigns individual responsibilities
- Maintains strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, safety standards and necessary data search for proper materials management and procurement.
- Inspects construction site work activities’ quality and safety conformity
- Ensures project documents are complete and updated as per company policy and objective.
- Coordinates with engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to complete material orders needed for planned construction works
- Follows up work activities through weekly progress meeting with the subcontractors and internal work progress meeting.
- Attends weekly meetings with client/consultants as per company representative
- Ensures that construction activities move according to approved work programmes and schedules.
- Follows up variation claim process with all related parties.
- Monitors progress of construction activities on regular basis and holds regular progress meeting with all relevant subcontractors/suppliers.
- Monitors and approves monthly subcontractors’ payment invoices as per job execution and progress work percentage at site.
- Resolves disputed issues with subcontractors regarding quality of work, construction costs or deviation from schedule and contract obligation.
- Follows up and checks monthly interim payment claims amounts and percentage to comply with forecast value as per work programme and expedites any action required for compliance.
- Complies with the policies and regulations of company, State and company-recognized standard.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience
- UPDA Grade A or B
- Strong communication skills.
- Project Management great skills.
- Task-oriented and analytical thinking.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Arabic Nationality is a Must.
- Ready to join immediately.
Salary: QAR15,000.00 - QAR18,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
License/Certification:
- MMUP (required)
