Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel up to 60% of the time
  • Implement strategies to enhance the resilience of power systems against utility power quality events, and other potential disruptions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate resilience measures into the overall infrastructure planning
  • Specify and oversee the installation of equipment and components that contribute to power system resilience
  • Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications
  • Use computer-assisted engineering software to perform engineering tasks
  • Support operations, construction, and other relevant departments with product development and testing
  • Ensure that all designs and implementations comply with relevant codes and standards
  • Proficient knowledge of relevant industry standards (NERC, FERC, NFPA, etc.)
  • Conduct equipment failure investigation and provide mitigation solutions
  • Monitor trends in electrical system reports, and escalate as necessary to drive improvements, or immediate corrective actions to electrical systems
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
