Responsibilities:
- Conduct night audit procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
- Verify and reconcile guest charges, payments, and accounts.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns during the night shift.
- Complete end-of-day activities, including generating reports and preparing for the next day's operations.
- Assist with front desk duties, including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations as needed.
- Maintain security by monitoring the premises and following safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations throughout the night.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in night auditing or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Opera software for hotel management.
- Familiarity with Micros software for point-of-sale and other hotel operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in hotel management or hospitality.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Prior experience in a hotel front desk or guest service role.
