Market Product Manager

Job Objectives

  • Drive the sales of OEM products as a leading part of the sales process
  • Implement and execute the sales strategies in the region
  • Foster knowledge exchange and cooperation between product lines within the assigned region.
  • Product Training to Satair Sales teams
  • Collect and share market information to Satair Product Management and other various departments
  • Is the voice of our Distribution business in the assigned region.
  • Drive and lead local process implementation as a baseline for efficiency and optimization
  • Support the HO ASPBM in securing the Team Values are understood and spread in the assigned region

Responsibilities:

  • To seek out, implement and develop sales of Satair’s products, concepts and services within the assigned region
  • Responsible for adapting the product sales pricing. Focal point for adhoc discount requests and in alignment with the discount guideline if applicable for the product line.
  • To contribute actively in strategy development & implementation
  • Responsible for Order Intake, Sales and profit for the assigned region.
  • Drive specific sales cases and customer visits
  • Responsible and owner of CRM pipeline targets per region to ensure target values are met and follow-up on same with Commercial and Product Management
  • Drive contract follow-up with sales
  • Support and provide input to the long-term product line business plans
  • Participate and support OEM QBRs and support QBR meetings with market and customer feed-back
  • Drive Business Development initiatives for new product launch

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Participate in the regional sales meeting from a product management point of view - secure the agenda for the Product Management scope
  • Own and drive the product marketing plan for the assigned region in coordination with Marketing
  • Support and give input to AOP, Budget and forecasts process

Job Requirements

  • Commercial education or an engineering degree combined with a commercial understanding, or 3-5 years of product, program or supply chain management experience
  • Strong business acumen
  • Knowledge about the product management discipline
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed profitability targets consistently
  • High degree of aviation business understanding specifically in the area of spares support, supply chain management, maintenance, understanding of support obligations from aircraft purchase agreements
