The Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Community Engineer to join our team in Egypt. The Senior Community Engineer will play a key role in managing day-to-day community operations, acting as the main point of contact for clients, overseeing site activities, and ensuring compliance with community regulations while delivering a high standard of service and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring all requests are properly received, executed, and followed up on in a timely manner.
  • Oversee and track daily operations within the Community Management (CM) function, coordinating closely with internal departments to ensure efficient fulfilment of client requests.
  • Maintain regular and professional communication with clients, providing clear updates on progress, timelines, and resolution of requests.
  • Supervise site operations and ensure smooth on-ground execution of community-related activities.
  • Handle client complaints professionally, investigate issues, and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
  • Monitor and address any violations or non-compliance within the community, ensuring adherence to community rules and regulations.
  • Ensure that all construction activities within the community have the necessary and valid work permits.
  • Follow up on permits and approvals, ensuring all documentation is valid, updated, and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Identify operational issues during inspections and coordinate corrective actions with concerned parties.
  • Prepare periodic reports on site activities, client issues, compliance status, and operational performance, as required.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in community management, site engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of site operations, construction activities, and permit management.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles with the ability to manage expectations and resolve issues effectively.
  • Good understanding of compliance, regulations, and community management standards.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to conduct site inspections and prepare clear, structured reports.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with community management or reporting systems is a plus.
