Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Policy & Procedures Specialist to develop, standardize, and maintain organizational policies and procedures that support operational efficiency, compliance, and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Development & Documentation:
- Develop, review, and update company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure all documentation is clear, structured, and aligned with organizational standards.
Process Mapping & Optimization:
- Analyze current business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and document workflows, process maps, and operational guidelines.
Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure policies and procedures align with regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks.
- Support compliance initiatives by maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with departments (HR, Operations, Finance, Legal, etc.) to gather requirements and validate processes.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to document and refine procedures.
Training & Communication:
- Support rollout of new or updated policies through training sessions, communication plans, and user guides.
- Ensure employees understand and follow established procedures.
Documentation Control & Maintenance:
- Maintain centralized documentation repositories and version control.
- Ensure proper approval workflows and document lifecycle management.
Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor effectiveness of policies and procedures and recommend enhancements.
- Support process standardization and automation initiatives.
Required Qualifications - Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in policy development, process documentation, or operational excellence roles.
- Strong experience in writing policies, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Experience in process mapping and workflow design.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC regulatory and business environments.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Experience using documentation or process tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Confluence).
- Background in compliance, governance, or quality assurance is a plus.
